Currently, most products produced on the market are homogeneous bauxite with an aluminum content of approximately 80% and 85%. About 80% is usually used for refractory materials in ironmaking systems, and 85% is more suitable for refractory materials in steelmaking systems.

Whether it is the content of AI2O3 or Fe2O3, the fluctuation of bauxite clinker is much higher than that of bauxite homogenizing material. At the same time, the homogenization process can also significantly reduce the Fe2O3 impurity content. Research has also shown that after homogenization treatment process, only the fluctuation of chemical composition can be controlled within a reasonable range, the bulk density and apparent porosity of the raw materials can also be stabilized through the homogenization process, thereby improving the quality of the raw materials.
