Guizhou bauxite deposit
The Xiuwen Xiaoshanba bauxite mining area started exploration in 1957, with a total of 20.264 million tons of proven bauxite, with an average ore grade of 67.91%. In 1979, the Wulongsi mining area was put into production. The ore layer was like layered, with a gentle occurrence, with an inclination angle of 5° to 10°, and tilted to the northeast.
Shanxi bauxite deposit
At the earliest in 1960, the exploration of the Kee ore section of the Ke Ru bauxite deposit was carried out, and then the Bujiayu and other ore sections were explored. A total of 62.656 million tons of bauxite were found, and the average ore grade was 64.36%. In 1986, Shanxi Aluminum Factory began to mine Xiaoyi bauxite. There are three types of ore: dense, rough and bean ooli.
Henan bauxite deposit
The deposit was explored with refractory clay ore from 1961 to 1964, and production began in 1966. A total of 9.497 million tons of bauxite have been proven. The geological age of the ore-bearing layer is the same as that of the Xiaoyi Ke'e deposit in Shanxi, both belonging to the Late Carboniferous Benxi period.
Pingguo Bauxite Deposit
The mining area has an area of 1750km2, and there are accumulated ore in the 132km long range of layered ore bodies. The earliest exploration of primary ore was carried out from 1959 to 1961. Due to the high sulfur content of the primary ore, which could not be used, the exploration of the accumulated ore was transferred in 1974. The total proven bauxite reserves reached 126.098 million tons, with an average grade of 64.69%. Due to the high sulfur content of layered ore (1.5% to 7%), it is still difficult to use in industry.
Zunyi bauxite deposit
The mine was explored in 1989, with proven reserves of 11.12 million tons and an average ore grade of 53.62%. The output shape of the ore seam is complex, there are many non-ore skylights, and the ore-bearing coefficient is small, about 0.5. These rock formations were laterite denuded and denuded into bauxite, clay minerals and other weathering crust materials that accumulated in situ, and a small part of the nearby weathering crust bauxite minerals and clay minerals migrated and accumulated slightly due to the effect of slope accumulation.
Penglai bauxite deposit
The deposit is a modern laterite-type bauxite deposit. The census and exploration were carried out from 1959 to 1961. In 1975, 9 ore bodies including Robben No. 5 and No. 6 were explored again, and the total proved bauxite reserves reached 21.906 million tons. , with an average grade of 44.4%. The bauxite is distributed on the top of the gentle hills, with an elevation of about 30-60m. It is a basalt weathered laterite type gibbsite bauxite deposit from the Tertiary to the Quaternary.
Zibo Wangcun Bauxite Mine
The Wangcun bauxite mine is located in the northwest of the Zibo Basin. A detailed survey was carried out in 1956, and preliminary and detailed surveys were carried out from 1964 to 1965. Open-pit mining began in 1958 and ended in 1967. In 1965, the development of infrastructure was made, and it was put into operation in 1966. The mine has a total of 2.945 million tons of proven bauxite, which is a small deposit.
